Claims Passport

About

Claims Passport

A centralised identity vault shared by every participating class action and compensation site in Australia. One Passport ID. No contact details exposed.

Why it exists

Before Claims Passport, every site that collected class action registrations also collected — and stored — your personal contact details. If you registered on three sites, three separate databases held your mobile number or email address.

Claims Passport eliminates this duplication. Participating sites store only your Passport ID and matter link. Your name and contact method stay inside the vault — encrypted, deduplicated, and never shared in raw form.

How we protect you

🔒 Data minimisation

We collect only a preferred name and one contact method (mobile or email). No surname, date of birth, address, or government ID — not in Stage 1.

🛡 Contact isolation

Your contact details are encrypted with per-record keys (GCP KMS, Sydney region). Participating sites and law firms never hold your raw contact.

🆔 One identity

A single Passport ID (CP-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) works across every participating site. The vault deduplicates automatically — you never get a second Passport.

📋 Eligibility summaries

An AI screening layer generates a plain-English summary for the receiving law firm. The firm sees your eligibility result — never your contact details.

🌏 Australian residency

Encryption keys and contact data reside in the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region. Data stays in Australia.

✓ Consent on record

Every consent action is logged as an append-only event — versioned notice, scope, IP hash, and timestamp. You can view and withdraw consent at any time.

Who it is for

Consumers

Australian residents registering for class actions or compensation matters. You get one Passport that works everywhere — your contact details stay protected.

Law firms

Firms receive a Passport ID, matter ID, eligibility result, and summary. They never receive your raw contact. Routing rules are configurable per matter.

Participating sites

Sites like ClassActions.com.au embed the Claims Passport widget. They store only a Passport ID and matter link — the widget handles identity and verification.

Future microsites

Any new site can embed the widget with a source tag. The vault deduplicates across all sites automatically.
